Description:

The Bord Gais Networks Services Centre was completed in 2012. It provides a 24/7 gas emergency response services centre which also incorporates maintenance workshops, office space, staff training facilities, a gym and a data centre.

The building is 5,500m2 over 2 storeys with a feature tower. The project was designed with the principles of sustainability and energy conservation as key features. These features are exemplified in the solar panels, photo-voltaic cells, ground source heat pumping, active slabs and green roof. The building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating and has won a number of awards for its innovative design and energy conservation features.
