Description:

The Clondalkin Leisure Centre is located within an urban suburb of South Dublin and accommodates a large segment of its population. As a result, in the mid 2000’s to cater for the community, South Dublin County Council decided to completely redevelop the centre and its facilities.

This resulted in the construction of a new pool, the subsequent demolition of the old pool and the replacement of the existing area with a new fitness centre. New features of the development included associated changing facilities, medical rooms, a café and retail space. The new pool is 25m long and incorporates a moveable floor and boom with a glulam beam roof structure.
