Fit-Out Awards 2014 - Fit-Out of the Year Public Sector (Large)

Description:

As part of the government’s strategy to deliver improved medical services and response times by the ambulance service, a decision was made to centralise the control centres operations into one main call centre at Tallaght with a secondary back-up centre in Ballyshannon Co. Donegal.

This major award winning project consisted of a full fit-out of a vacant 6 storey office building which provided the National Ambulance Service with a new state of the art Control Centre. The project included the installation of a package plant room on the roof, the fit-out of a large control room on level 5 and the construction of a large data centre on level 4. The remaining levels are fitted-out with offices, training/emergency simulation rooms, meeting rooms, tea stations and a canteen.
