Human Resources Manager
Debbie joined Walls as HR Manager in April 2019. Her previous experience includes 10 years with a leading Irish construction company and HR Generalist roles with an international charity and a major telecommunications company. Debbie is responsible for all aspects of the company’s HR function, with an emphasis on supporting management and staff to ensure that we continue to attract and retain the best construction professionals working in Ireland today.
As HR Advisor Ursula’s role includes all aspects of recruitment, ensuring HR issues and queries are managed and closed out in a timely manner, providing support and advice to employees, implementing Company policies and procedures, attendance, performance management and other ad hoc duties such as collating and verifying HR information for management reporting.
Communications & Industrial Relations Manager
Ian has over 30 years’ experience gained in commercially managed businesses including HR management, industrial relations, management consulting and communications. Together with post-graduate qualifications in HR and journalism, Ian’s excellent communication skills, strong customer focus and sense of humour, enables him to build relationships, internal and external, central to the successful management of Walls.
With academic qualifications in Architecture, Construction Law, Contract Administration, Quantity Surveying and Learning and Development Niamh joined the Company in 2015 as Training & Development Manager. She is responsible for ensuring that the Company’s training and development activities are delivered in a strategic rather than reactive fashion, providing professional and other development interventions in areas such as health and safety, technical/engineering, commercial, IT and management development.
