As a BIM Technician, you will support the delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across all project phases, from tender and preconstruction through to project delivery and handover. Working closely with BIM Coordinators, design teams, and project stakeholders, you will be responsible for producing, managing, and coordinating high-quality digital models and project information to support efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and coordinate BIM models in accordance with project standards, procedures, and industry best practice.
- Support the implementation of BIM processes in line with ISO 19650 Part 1 & 2: 2018.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with client requirements and Project Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) throughout all project stages.
- Produce and manage project documentation, model outputs, and digital deliverables to support project milestones.
- Carry out model audits, data verification checks, and model health reviews to ensure quality and consistency of information.
- Support the federation of multi-disciplinary models and assist with clash detection activities using Navisworks and other BIM platforms.
- Identify and communicate modelling issues, clashes, and information requirements to project teams and support their timely resolution.
- Maintain project information within the Common Data Environment (CDE) in accordance with project protocols.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Model Production Delivery Tables (MPDTs), TIDPs, and MIDPs.
- Attend and contribute to BIM coordination meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team with internal audits, BIM standards implementation, and the adoption of new technologies.
- Produce 2D and 3D project deliverables including drawings, schedules, visualisations and asset information as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a BIM Technician, CAD Technician, or similar digital construction role.
- Good understanding of BIM processes and standards, including ISO 19650.
- Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, BIM, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Revit, with experience using Navisworks; knowledge of additional BIM software packages would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
