DCU Future Tech Building

The building is located by the main entrance on Collins Avenue. The building further expands the existing campus, as developed through the DCU Masterplan, to achieve an integrated multi-campus University.

The Future Tech Building is a 9,250m² facility to accommodate over 3,000 additional STEM students on the DCU Glasnevin campus. Located adjacent to the main entrance, it will house DCU’s entire School of Health & Human Performance.

Constructed using a steel superstructure with unitised glazed system and brickwork façade, the building will include specialist research and teaching laboratories, exercise studios, information technology suites and lecture theatres. Targeting an EXCEED and BREEAM excellent rating with energy efficiency and sustainability objectives, the project will be delivered using BIM coordination.
