One Dublin Airport Central
Description:
Originally built in the 1960’s, the former Aer Lingus Head Office building at Dublin Airport was redeveloped to a Grade A specification as the flagship for a new generation of commercial facilities at the heart of the airport campus. The building was renamed to One Dublin Airport Central.
Walls Construction was engaged as the design and build contractor to redevelop the building. The Deep Energy Retrofit of the original building provided 8,300m2 of Grade A Workspace achieving LEED Platinum Accreditation and a BER rating of A3. The building stands at six-storeys over a single storey basement. The refurbished building is known as One Dublin Airport Central and incorporates a feature triple-glazed façade, a flexible internal layout, best in class insulation and T50 broadband throughout. The project is also finished with soft landscaping and substantial car parking spaces.
