This International Women in Engineering Day, we’re celebrating those women exploring the exciting possibilities careers in engineering and construction have to offer.
We were also delighted to see a great turnout of girls and boys at our recent Transition Year student workshops, which provided insights into the many different aspects of the construction industry.
From site visits to exploring how digitalisation such as BIM and VR technology is contributing to project delivery, students also learned how environmental responsibility is embedded into modern construction and how collaboration and planning contribute to successful outcomes on site.
The curiosity, enthusiasm, and engagement shown throughout the programme were inspiring as students developed new skills and discovered future opportunities in engineering.
