An Post GPO Fit-Out Cork

Walls Construction is delighted to confirm the completion of the An Post Retail fit-out within the GPO in Cork. The project was completed in two phases to enable the Post Office remain live and fully functional for the duration of the works, which involved the full replacement of mechanical, electrical and security systems and the existing boiler house was fully stripped and a new mechanical installation installed. Further works included the full fit-out of new counters, display units, fitted and loose furniture and the installation of new floor finishes throughout, while the existing protected internal walls and ceilings were carefully decorated, maintaining the building’s historic charm.
