History was made at the World Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland last night as Kate O’Connor claimed a bronze medal in the women’s pentathlon, shattering the Irish record with a score of 4,839 points.
We’ve always known Kate was destined for greatness but watching her performances over the past 18 months on the world stage is something special. One medal after another, she continues to raise the bar for Irish athletics.
