External – The installation of the Solar Shading Veil has just commenced. Over the next few months this will be the biggest visible change as this new skin will wrap the entire building. The Atrium Glazing is now almost complete so passers by can see the Vertical Glazing on the south façade. Internally, the workers can now start to see the full scale of the bespoke glass roof as the scaffolding deck is being removed. The installation of the impressive 9m Cantilevered Structural Steel Canopy on the north façade has just commenced and very soon the two site tower cranes will be removed to allow the final completions of the external envelope.
Internal – With the building seal almost complete the internal fit-out works are progressing quickly. Ceilings are being installed and finished on the lower floors, the underfloor heating and screed is being prepared for completion in the Atrium and elements of 1st fix joinery are starting to appear throughout the building.
