The CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA) held in Croke Park on Thursday 20th June awards are presented biennially by the Chartered Institute of Building and celebrate excellence in the field of construction management by specifically acknowledging the role of the Construction Manager in delivering projects, often to very demanding standards.
Congratulations to Gareth Lloyd for his achievements in winning the Silver Medal in the €60m+ category for the LinkedIn EMEA HQ at Wilton Place in Dublin. With an overall floor area of 17,650m2 this six storey over single basement LEED Gold rated building provides an exemplary work environment and is a leading example of environmentally sustainable, energy efficient construction that produces a low carbon footprint. As Divisional Director Gareth delivered a project that won an ICE (Irish Construction Excellence) award earlier this year and these achievements are due recognition for the tremendous effort made by RKD and AECOM in their design, Gareth’s team for delivering a superb workplace and our client, LinkedIn, for their vision.
The CMYA are prestigious awards within the industry and all finalists deserve congratulations, so it goes without saying that Eamon Treacy being shortlisted for the Fernbank Residential Development in Dundrum did himself and Walls proud for being nominated in the €25m – €60m category.
