Construction Update – January 2025
Phase 1 is progressing well with the precast structure well underway to both Blocks 4 and 5. Block 6 foundation works are ongoing and are expected to be largely complete over the coming weeks. Window installation is ongoing to block 4 with the brickwork commencing this week. Although it can’t be seen from outside works have also progressed on the first fix M&E in the building undercroft.
In Phase 2 we are expecting to commence the precast structure to Block 3 in February and continue the foundation works towards the Tallow elevation of site. We have also now completed the backfill to the canal end retaining wall and will be opening our new gate entrance to site at the top of the Tallow over the coming weeks.
Weather dependant the final tower crane will be erected over the coming week.
To date we have completed approx. 170,00 man hours on site with current site numbers at an average of around 200 operatives.
