Construction Update – June 2024
The development consists of a mixed-use (residential and commercial) scheme, including 725 number dwellings (30 Studios apartments, 325 one bed apartments, 45 two bed three person apartments, 310 two bed four person apartments, 15 three bed apartments), a licenced discount food store, a café/restaurant unit and a creche facility, ancillary residents amenity space accommodated in six number blocks ranging in height from two to fourteen storeys.
Project Duration: Walls Construction Ltd to commence the project works in June 2024 with a circa 3 year build programme.
Health, Safety & Environmental Management
Walls Construction Ltd are committed to a policy of effectively managing all aspects of health, safety and welfare. Therefore, we prepare, set up and manage our projects prioritising the safety of our site staff, subcontractors and the general public. Our Site Waste Management Plan is monitored by the project team on a daily basis and supported through regular audits by our EHS management team and external consultants.
Upcoming Works:
Works have now commenced on site as of 24th June 2024. Over the coming weeks works will progress on setting up our site boundary. This will include adjusting the median on Rathborne Boulevard to allow for construction works and future realignment.
We will commence the bulk dig on Phase 1 of the project, with piling works to commence towards the middle of July.
