On phase 1 we are continuing our progress towards project completion. We will be removing the final tower crane from the first phase of works in the middle of April. This is currently scheduled for the 16th April and a letter has been issued to affected residents. On the 20th April we will be installing Heras Fencing to close off the section which previously divided Rathborne Boulevard. This will allow us to complete the works in this area and reinstate the median. Mark up attached of this fencing. Finally, from early May we will commence works along Rathborne Boulevard raising manhole lids/ gullies and removing the current hoarding and replacing with heras fencing up on the new footpath. This will be in preparation for the finish course of tar to be laid over the succeeding weeks. There will be some localised disruption while these works take place and we will update the website as dates firm up.
On phase 2 the paving and new footpaths along Rathborne Boulevard are progressing, as is the removal of scaffolding along this elevation. Internal works are progressing in line with our programme.
We have recently received a request from Waterways Ireland to carry out additional works their behalf along the canal greenway. These works are scheduled to take place from 13th April to the 13th July and signage has been erected notifying of same.
