Construction Update – November 2024
It has been a busy month here at Rathborne Wharf. November has seen the completion of the Block 4 Podium Level slab and works have now commenced on the precast structure for the 14 storey block adjoining the canal. The first two podium level pours have been completed on Block 5 and Block 6 is nearing completion of the groundworks phase of the project. The last of the 3 tower cranes on this was also erected during the month.
In Phase 2 we are currently preparing for the first pour on the Block 3 podium. Groundworks are progressing to the West of the site on the Tallow Elevation. The second of the three tower cranes is currently scheduled for erection week commencing 2nd December.
Our site compound set up has now moved from the old school building to the site footprint. We will shortly be vacating the school building and moving our car parking to the rear of Rathborne Village. Our turnstile access will also relocate from Rathborne Road to the centre of the project on Rathborne Boulevard, next to our site cabin set up.
During one of the storms in the month some of the fencing along Royal Canal Court was damaged. This damaged fencing section will be replaced with hoarding panels over the coming weeks to stop further reoccurrence.
