Construction Update – October 2024
As the clocks change and the days get shorter, works continue to progress on Rathborne Wharf. October has seen the first two of four pours for the Block 4 Podium Level Slab. This will set the foundation for the scaffolding and precast structure to commence over the coming weeks. The month of November will also see our final crane erected in phase 1. Site works are ongoing on Phase 2 of the project. The first of three tower cranes were erected during October and we have progressed the reinforced concrete works for the foundations of the structure.
We have also commenced installation of our site compound set up which will see our project offices move from the old school building onto the site footprint between Phase 1 and 2. As mentioned in our previous update we have collaborated with Pelletstown ETNS in order to draw attention to the biodiversity along the Canal Greenway. We would like to thank all the children from the school who participated in the project. Their efforts are now on display on the site fencing along the canal boundary .
