Works are progressing well on site. The first of the precast Blocks on Phase 1 has reached completion with the final two blocks to top out over the coming weeks. Scaffold drops are progressing in line with the façade works and roofing to all three blocks is well under way. Works are progressing well internally with the design team currently working through snagging on the blocks. The external landscaping works are expected to commence towards the end of this month. These works will see the hoarding along Rathborne Boulevard being moved out beyond the current kerb line in order to complete the works here while still keeping the full hoarding in place to screen the site.
Precast works are progressing well on all 3 blocks and Block 1 north roof is now underway. The final penthouse level will complete this block over the next few weeks. The curtain wall to the retail space at block 1 is progressing and expected to complete in the middle of the month. Brickwork is live on all 3 blocks with the insulated render and standing seam cladding works progressing on Block 3. Fit out works are progressing in Block 2 and 3 with Block 1 commencing this month.
On a positive note in relation to parking in the area we have been notified of an intent to grant permission for the car park at the rear of Super Valu. We are currently awaiting completion of the 4 week appeal period. If this yields a positive outcome we aim to have the car park up and running by the end of October. We apologise for any inconvenience this is currently causing.
