Following yesterday’s formal announcement, Walls Construction has commenced construction on Diageo Ireland’s new €200m brewery in Littleconnell, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
On a greenfield site, the facility will brew lagers and ales and when fully operational will be the country’s second largest brewing operation after St. James’s Gate.
The state-of-the-art, energy efficient brewery will be powered with 100% renewable energy using the latest process technology to minimise energy and water consumption.
Walls remit includes all civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) works and associated building services (mechanical and electrical) installations across the entire development including process integration to facilitate and integrate specialist vessels, tanks, plant, and equipment. We are delighted to win this strategically important project for such a large global client.
