Walls Construction was delighted to host our first Engineering Your Future TY experience last week.
We welcomed nine students to our Head Office for a four-day programme that provided them with valuable insights and hands-on experience in the fields of engineering and construction. Throughout the programme, the students had the opportunity to undertake site visits and workshops.
Engineers Ireland also kindly organised a workshop with The Rediscovery Centre, the national centre for a circular economy which is involved in leading Ireland’s transition to a circular economy, where the students got to know about sustainable engineering.
The TY experience concluded with a visit to LOETB – National Construction Training Campus, Mount Lucas, Co. Offaly, where the students experienced everything from scaffolding, utilities and NZEB to state-of-the-art training simulators.
