We at Walls are delighted to start project activities at our forest lands this summer. Our forest, in Gowlagh, North Co. Cavan will be managed for many years to come for environmental and wellbeing benefits. We intend to focus on carbon sequestration and biodiversity, both on the land, trees, and the existing watercourse present. With expertise and guidance from GreenBelt Forestry Management, we have commenced surveying and monitoring the biodiversity present and carbon sequestration currently taking place. We intend to use this data to help us establish what more we can do so the forest can reach it’s full potential.
This exciting project will have participation and involvement from members of our team who are fond of the outdoors too. We look forward to reporting more over the coming months and years from this beautiful place.
