The Walls Rosemount Golf Society held its first outing of the year on Saturday 12th June in Rathsallagh House Golf Club.
Unlike other years, its debut this year was in nice weather which contributed to some good scoring with Micheal Harty pipping Jonathan Murphy on the back 9, both scoring 38 points.
Fearghus Vaughan and James O’Toole were also prize winners on the day.
The Society has welcomed many new members this year who no doubt recognise that golf is an excellent recreational pursuit in these COVID times. The Committee has been hard at work and monthly outings are arranged for the remainder of the year, to a number of superb venues including Esker Hills, Galway Bay and Mount Wolsley.
