Walls Construction is proud to have had Namrata P. – a graduate planner with Walls – win the Technological University Dublin Student Climate Entrepreneurship Award as part of a team, and attended the International Showcase Global ClimateLaunchpad in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
The Global Climate Launchpad is organized by Climate-KIC, the European Union’s main climate innovation initiative, and takes place annually in over 50 countries around the world. The competition has been successful in identifying and supporting innovative solutions for climate change, with past winners including companies focused on sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and circular economy initiatives.
Over 110 students pitched innovative ideas in Technological University Dublin, and the group’s winning proposal consisted of a platform called inWasted, which was about preventing construction waste by creating awareness among contractors and consumers. The primary goal is to reduce waste and create a more sustainable global market.
Congratulations Namrata and team (Jessica Mondardo, Dania Rose Thomas, Sediye Machaba) on your hard work!
