We originally carried out works to the Montrose for our client Ziggurat in 2014. At the time the building was a dormant hotel which had not been in use since 2010. We added a fifth floor and changed the use of the building from a hotel to student accommodation. We returned to site in 2015 to build an 11 bedroom extension and some further refurbishment work to some of the existing building. Subsequent to this, in 2016 we were awarded the contract for the additional works of the refurbishment of 126 bathrooms and the removal and upgrade of the heating system. This contract had a short programme of 12 weeks, with practical completion on Wednesday 31st August. We are pleased to say that this project has been handed over within programme and budget.
