Building our Future Together

International Women’s Day

Walls Construction > News > International Women’s Day

Walls Construction Limited recognise the incredible contribution made by the amazing women in our company, and across the construction industry. Today, our talented Training and Development Manager Carolina Concialdi kindly distributed mini bouquets of Mimosa Flowers to each and every female in our company.
Carolina, a proud Italian woman, was also kind enough to educate us on the meaning of the mimosa flower and what it symbolises on International Women’s Day. It was indeed two very determined Italian women who pushed the boundaries of diversity and stood up for equal rights. Seventy-Six years later, their legacy lives on, stronger than ever. Thank you.

We are looking forward to further recognising IWD22 by sponsoring the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) Women’s Day Event tomorrow at Clontarf Castle.
