Walls Construction is delighted that three of our apprentice bricklayers were selected to participate in the National Skills Apprentice Competition which took place in the @South East Technological University (SETU – formerly the Waterford Institute of Technology) on the 12th and 13th June.
Organised by SETU, @Technological University Dublin and the various @SOLAS (An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna) and Education and Training Boards throughout the country, this was a preliminary competition to shortlist those to compete in Ireland Skills Live, the national finals for all apprenticeships taking place at the RDS from the 19th to the 22nd of September next. Held annually, Ireland Skills Live will identify the top apprentices in the country who will go on to represent Ireland at the World Skills event later this year. Congratulations to Gary, Jack, and Dean on their performance to date and we look forward to seeing them compete on the national stage in September!
