St. Luke’s Hospital

St. Luke’s is a General Medical Hospital serving a rural population of 126,000. This project involved the construction of a 6,000m2 two and three storey building replacing the existing emergency department.

The development comprises a new Emergency/Acute Medical Admission Unit (MAU), Out-Patient Department, Pathology Department, Training & Education Centre, Day Services Unit and Community Day Hospital. The new wing is located to the west of the existing hospital and joins the existing theatre complex via a first floor corridor link.

Other features include a new concourse area that connects the existing hospital to the new outpatients building and the Susie Long wing. The finished project included a new carpark and ancillary works.
