The Rosemount golf society had their second outing of the year last weekend, with Powerscourt West Course being the venue this time. The blustery conditions made the course a little more difficult, but at least the rain stayed away for the 24 players who took to the fairways.
First and second place both went to our surveying department with Niall Rafferty and Pearse Delargy taking the honours. Despite the strong winds, a couple of fantastic shots won the longest drive and nearest the pin competition with Micheal Harty and Ian Barrett taking these prizes. Michael was not far from the green with his drive on the par 4 14th !
