The Rosemount Golf Society took the fairways again last weekend. This time they travelled to Strandhill in Sligo to compete in the annual ‘Construction V Commercial’ team event. This year the construction team needed to make amends for last years loss, while the commercial team was unwilling to relinquish the trophy. This made for an exciting days golf. But ultimately the construction team were by far the better team and will have their name engraved in the trophy for 2019. Congratulations to the individual winners also, Eoin Carroll, Dean Lynch, Paddy O’Brien and Joe Coulson – who all walked away with honours in their respective categories.
Onwards to the June outing in Moyvalley Golf Club. Hopefully the weather is as good as it was for May’s outing!
