As a Gold Sponsor of Construction Industry Federation (CIF) Construction Safety Month, Walls Construction has organised several events relating to health and safety in the workplace, as well as mental health and wellbeing.
Yesterday at our College Square project for Marlet Property Group, we hosted a discussion with our two sponsored sporting ambassadors, Irish heptathlete Kate O’Connor and Olympic eventer, Sarah Ennis.
With a large attendance of site-based staff, the discussion focused on mental health and resilience, the importance of PPE and proper planning, and the core values of Kate and Sarah and how they corelate with Walls.
We also got an insight into their future career goals, especially Paris 2024. The discussion provided fantastic food for thought and was very well received by all.
