The Bridges of Boland’s Mills:
The Dublin skyline has a new addition this week – the installation of the structural steel has commenced for the first of two bridges connecting the new Google Boland’s Mills office towers.
The logistics operation alone was of military precision and took place in the very early hours of Wednesday morning whilst the city was sleeping.
These bridges are located at high activity areas within the buildings to allow convenient access between the two structures.
The bridge that was installed last week is 24m long, connecting the two buildings at level 11, almost 50 metres above the ground!
As the new steelwork and structure is added to the first new bridge, the second bridge installation will commence in the coming days.
The main fitout is progressing at a rapid pace and starting to take shape in what will be one of the most stunning interior spaces in Irelands commercial office sector.
