A number of golfers playing in the Rosemount Golf Society outing on Saturday 14th April last in Royal Tara Golf Club in Co. Meath reported seeing a UFO between 1.00pm and 1.30pm!
However, it turned out to be the Sun which appeared for about 5 minutes before disappearing in the direction of Kilmessan.
On the golfing front, this was the first outing this year for the Walls Golf Society and considering the recent weather Royal Tara was in excellent condition. Joe O’Donnell, a member of Trim Golf Club, used his local knowledge to emerge victorious with a score of 37 points, just clear of Sean Moroney in 2nd place. Joe also led his team consisting of Micheal Harty, Peter Keane and Martin Winters to victory.
