This year we achieved the maximum reaccreditation period of three years for the first time. The Standard, which has the formal backing of the Department of Education & Skills, recognises good organisational practice in learning and continuing professional development (CPD) and acknowledges an organisation’s Training and Development strategy, competency levels and how CPD assists in the delivery of tangible business benefits.
The Walls team realises the value of CPD and this accreditation is an endorsement of that commitment. We understand that investment in people improves our business processes and by engaging in CPD, our teams actively maintain and improve their knowledge, skills and personal competencies, while, through knowledge sharing, our people use creativity and innovation to learn and adapt.
As we continue to grow, the Standard provides a benchmark to improve the competency levels of all our staff and our processes. Our strong training and development culture is reinforced by a multidisciplinary T&D Committee under the guidance of our Training and Development Manager, Niamh Barry. Well done to them all!
