As the impressive new seven storey Central Bank of Ireland eco-headquarters nears completion elements of the project are receiving their final clean. Today specialist cleaners were carefully working on a final clean to the external glazed atrium.
The external veil system of anodized aluminium triangular mesh panels which completes the simple but sophisticated glass skin and provides protection from solar glare and solar heat gain is close to completion on the south facing facade. While other sides of the building are partially clad in this system, the south facing facade which is directly on to North Wall Quay and the Liffey and is completely wrapped.
