Kerry’s new Global Technology and Innovation Centre (GTIC) serves as a key focal point for the company’s customer engagement activities.

The centre provides strategic customers with access to the group’s complete breadth and depth of technologies, scientific research, innovation and applications expertise across food, beverage and pharmaceutical markets respectively. This is the largest single investment in food innovation in Ireland and it has put Ireland firmly at the forefront of global food innovation. It is a major centre of excellence for the Company’s EMEA business region.

The Global Technology & Innovation Centre has a floor area of 26,210m2 that includes 5,000m2 of pilot plant production facilities, 8,500m2 of laboratories and 3,500m2 customer experience building. Buildings A, B & C were constructed with an in-situ concrete frame while the 8m high Building D has a steel frame structure. The Centre has won awards for engineering design and quality. Working for Gilbane Ireland, Walls were responsible for the concrete frame and the complete fit-out works.
